Since the new version 6, the official BitTorrent client is just a re-branded version of µTorrent. Therefore, please use the µTorrent on Windows install guide.
Note that the older BitTorrent client, called Mainline, is not supported by Transdroid.

Why is there a server option in transdroid for BitTorrent 6+ if we use the uTorrent guide and settings?
Because they are identical programs with identical web UI’s and hence identical set-up procedures.
Eric please post that ur app supports bittorrent in ur app description for the market place. I unnecessarily uninstalled it and installed uTorrent thinking there was no support. I prefer bittorrent and so do alot of others. Thanks! Will post 5 stars

I’m sure I missed something somewhere. I have transdroid installed on my Droid. I don’t want or need it on my home network.
I can search for torrents on pirate bay but I can’t download from there.
What did I do wrong?
You must be confused as to what Transdroid does. It is NOT a bittorrent client that downloads files. It is ONLY a remote controller of an already running torrent client on some home computer or server.
