This is actually part of the process towards more regular releases again, where bugfixes are not stalled due to new features (the tablet interface, in this case). I'm working on it and probably get some help soon too, so a new release can be expected within a few weeks. Absolutely. It's been broken with the latest Transmission for quite some time now.
